EXPERT FAIR |

EXPERT FAIR

Something exciting is happening at Carseland School!  On April 18th, we will be hosting an EXPERT FAIR.  Our students have proven to have a plethora of knowledge on a wide array of topics, and we think that they should have the opportunity to share what they know with others.  What better way to do this than to open up the gym and provide the students with a platform in which to share their knowledge and passions with others!

Whether it is talking about an animal that piques their interest, demonstrating how to draw a particular cartoon character, or even modelling how to use a computer program, the sky is the limit for what students may choose to showcase at the fair.  We do however ask that students choosing to take part in the fair provide us with a few details in advance. This is so that we can ensure that we allocate adequate space in the gym for each fair entry, and that we can provide participants with anything else they may need from the school, such as a table or electrical outlet.  Participants are asked to return the entry form below before April 10th.

Although fair projects are to be completed at home, students may pop by Mrs. Wade’s classroom on Mondays during the noon hour in order to work on their projects.  For those students looking for something to occupy their time over Spring Break, working on a fair entry may be the ticketJ

On the morning of April 18th, students will be permitted to set up their projects in the gym.  In the afternoon, students will be provided time to share their projects with students, staff, and members of the community.  Community members are invited to stop by the gym from 1:30-3:00 pm.

We are looking forward to this learning extravaganza!  We hope to see you on April 18th.

“If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed.  The vision pulls you.”
